Emilie
Schonbeck (2004) - Camp is a wonderful place.
There are no real problems. Everything is easier. It's a place to be funky,
crazy, happy, everything. It's absolutely beautiful. People are friendly and
easy-going.
Maria
Lundquist (2004) - As a counselor you're expected
to be a good role model, be enthusiastic and enjoy being around kids. So patience
and understanding, but also humor is very important. If you have fun, the kids
have fun- so just relax and share yourself. But also- the safety aspect is very
important, so you're also expected to follow the rules, but they're mostly about
using your common sense. As long as you like kids and have humor and enthusiasm
you'll have a blast. I enjoyed my summer and am very happy with the ICEP.
